New year, new decade and exciting new challenges.

It is set to be a great time for Warrington as the Time Square opens and here at The Outset we have great plans for further exciting events and facilities. Watch this space.

Last month we ‘celebrated’ the election with our charity cake sale in aid of The Samaritans. Remarkably the blue topped cakes outsold the rest which proved very prophetic. On a quiet day we still raised nearly £40 which was kindly doubled up by our building owner. Our next charity cake sale will be on February 14th when you can show your love for RISE, a local charity ‘good people helping good people through tough times’.

If you have a favourite charity who would like to benefit from our March cake sale do let us know. It’s not just all about cake either, Andy provides ‘donation’ brews of tea and coffee!

Next week sees our first Breakfast at the Outset of 2020. Podcast producer Charles Commins will be talking all things Podcast. What are they, why get involved and tips for production. With video rapidly becoming the fastest growing communications medium, this talk is a must for your business!

Continuing along our communications theme and following on from his breakfast talk in November, Mitch Poole and Jen Perry of Forty Communications will be running a PR workshop on Thursday 23 January. Sponsored and supported by NatWest, the first Learning at the Outset session will be a PR masterclass. Attendees can learn how PR works, how it can grow your brand and boost your business profile. Learn the tricks of how to work with the media, what works, what doesn’t and take part in a practical workshop to learn how to write a coverage winning press release. Book a place on:
